Search Randolph County Jail Records

Randolph County inmate records begin with the county jail roster, which is the practical way to look up Randolph County inmates online when someone may be held after a local arrest, court order, or short county commitment. The Randolph County jail roster search is browse based, so users move through current custody and recent release views rather than typing into a roster search box. State, federal, and immigration custody use separate locator systems, so a complete search checks the county jail first and then follows the correct outside custody channel when the person is not listed.

Randolph County Jail Roster

The official Randolph County Detention Center roster gateway offers two public choices: current inmates and the 48-hour release list. Both are free and do not require an account. The gateway belongs to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, and it frames the roster as public convenience information rather than a certified court or jail record. The current roster is used for people presently shown at the Randolph County Detention Center. The release list is used for people released from that detention center within the last 48 hours.

The roster is not a free-text database. No inmate-name search box was visible on the Randolph County roster pages reviewed in the research. A user browses by choosing Current or Released, sorting by Name or Date, using A-Z letter links on the name view, moving through pagination, and opening the "View Profile >>>" link on a roster card. Counts varied between roster views during the May 28, 2026 research window, so the public count should be treated as a live display and not as a fixed jail population total.

The roster page at the sheriff site is best for county jail custody. It can show local police arrests, sheriff arrests, court commitments, bench warrants, body attachments, holds for other counties, and 309 or state-status language when those entries are public. Sentenced state prisoners, federal prisoners, and immigration detainees are searched through different systems, even when the person started with a Randolph County arrest.

Use Randolph County Inmate Records

The current roster and 48-hour release roster are the fastest official route when the person may still be in the Randolph County Detention Center. Start with the sheriff roster rather than a paid directory, then use the jail phone if the public profile is unclear. That matters most when a charge, bond amount, case number, or hold status could have changed after a court appearance.

  1. Open the official roster gateway and choose Current Inmates for people now listed at the Randolph County Detention Center.
  2. Choose 48 Hour Release when the person may have left the jail recently and no longer appears on the current roster.
  3. Use Date to review bookings by booking date, including newest-to-oldest and oldest-to-newest controls where shown.
  4. Use Name to sort alphabetically, then choose an A-Z letter link for the first letter of the last name.
  5. Move through the numbered pages if the name does not appear on the first page.
  6. Compare roster-card details such as mugshot, booking number, booking date, charges, and bond before assuming two similar names are the same person.
  7. Open "View Profile >>>" for the full public profile, then call the jail for bond, case number, or charge confirmation.

The sheriff roster gateway includes a disclaimer that the Detention Center cannot certify the accuracy or authenticity of public roster data. That does not make the roster useless. It means the roster is a custody lead and profile view, while final charge status and court action must be checked with jail staff, court records, or the proper agency.

Randolph County Roster Fields

The roster controls are page links and filters, not typed search fields. The name view is useful when spelling is known. The date view is useful when the arrest or booking was recent. Released custody is a separate 48-hour path. If a person does not appear, switch views before moving to DOC, BOP, ICE, VINE, or a public-records request.

Field LabelTypeRequiredOptions / Format Notes
NameLink or sort optionNoSorts the roster alphabetically; A-Z letter filters appear on the name view.
DateLink or sort optionNoSorts by booking date, with newest-to-oldest and oldest-to-newest links visible.

A-Z lettersAlphabet filter linksNoJump to surnames beginning with the selected letter on the name view.
Page numberPagination linksNoUse numbered pages and next or previous controls to browse longer result sets.

The name-sorted Randolph County roster is useful when a last name is known, while the booking-date view is better for recent arrests. The sheriff site may also have a site-wide search box in its header, but that is not the structured jail roster search.

Randolph County Inmate Profile

The detailed profile gives more than the roster card, but it still does not show every jail or court detail. The inspected public profile showed the booking number, age, gender, race, city and state address, arresting agency, booking date and time, charges, bond, and a mugshot. It did not show a full date of birth, street address, housing unit, court date, judge, statute code, projected release date, or medical and classification data.

FieldWhat It Shows
MugshotPublic booking image shown on the roster card and profile.
Booking #Numeric booking identifier, also used in the profile URL.
Age, Gender, RaceBasic profile fields; race and gender may use abbreviated codes.
AddressCity and state only in the inspected sample profile.
Arresting AgencyAgency name, city, and agency code when available.
Booking DateDate and time the person was booked into the jail system.
ChargesPlain-text booking, warrant, court-order, hold, felony, misdemeanor, or 309/status language.
BondTotal public bond amount; per-charge bond details were not visible in the inspected sample.
Profile NoteCharges and bail may change after court appearances; call the detention center for correct bail, charges, and case numbers.

The sample Randolph County inmate profile captured in the research shows how these fields are arranged. A profile can help confirm that Pocahontas Police Department, the sheriff's office, or another agency brought the person into custody, but it should not be treated as the final court docket.

Randolph County Roster Screens

The sheriff's roster gateway is the first public fork between current custody and recent release records.

Randolph County inmate records roster gateway for current inmates and 48-hour releases

The gateway matters because it prevents a common mistake: checking only the current list when the person may have just been released.

The booking-date roster shows current Randolph County jail roster cards with mugshots, booking numbers, charges, bond, and profile links.

The roster card is the quick view. Open the profile before relying on a charge line, and call the jail when release or bond depends on the detail.

Randolph County Jail Contact

Use the jail phone when a record is not visible, when a bond amount looks unclear, or when a hold could belong to another agency. The official profile note sends bond companies and people posting bail to detention center staff for the correct bail amount, charges, and case numbers.

Randolph County Visitation Status

An official Randolph County AR visitation schedule was not located in the sheriff pages reviewed. The correct content choice is to state the gap and give the call-first path, not to invent weekday, weekend, or holiday hours. NCIC materials support communications, messaging, phone, and video services, but the research did not locate a Randolph-specific social visit calendar.

Randolph County Lookup Channels

When the Randolph County jail roster does not answer the question, the next channel depends on custody type. A released person may appear on the 48-hour list for a short time. A state-sentenced person may move into the Arkansas DOC population. A federal or immigration case may leave the county site entirely. VINELink adds notification, but it is not a substitute for a jail profile or court docket.

Randolph County Jail Communications

The sheriff's Jail-Communications page hosts the local NCIC and mail materials. Ordinary inmate mail changed to a Texas processing address on May 28, 2025. Legal and medical mail still goes to the physical detention center address. NCIC is documented for communications, messaging, video, calls, tablets, and mail scanning. The research did not identify NCIC as the commissary provider.

Randolph County Booking Records

Randolph County booking starts when the jail accepts a person from the sheriff's office, Pocahontas Police Department, another local agency, a court order, or another jurisdictional hold. The public fields show how that intake record is built: booking number, booking date and time, mugshot, arresting agency, charge or warrant text, and bond or hold information. A current roster entry may be a fresh arrest, but it may also be a bench warrant, contempt matter, body attachment, state status, 309 entry, or other-agency hold.

The sheriff FAQ identifies jail booking records as a public-disclosure category under Arkansas FOIA when no exemption applies. That is the fallback for older records, booking records no longer visible on the 48-hour release list, and records that require a formal request. The FAQ also makes a clear distinction between jail booking records and ACIC/NCIC criminal-history information. The sheriff's office cannot provide ACIC or NCIC background checks as if they were public jail roster records.

Body attachment
A court order, often tied to child-support enforcement, that directs law enforcement to take a person into custody.
Detainer
A hold from another agency or jurisdiction that may prevent release even if a local bond is addressed.
309
Arkansas state custody or work-status shorthand seen in roster and DOC options; verify the status with jail or DOC staff.
Classification
The jail or prison process for custody level, housing, medical review, and program assignment.

County Jail vs DOC Records

A Randolph County jail record is not the same as an Arkansas DOC record. County custody is usually the first public system after arrest. Court proceedings may later lead to a state sentence, and the person may move to a DOC facility or remain under a Randolph-related DOC status such as Randolph County Waiting List, Randolph Co.309/Wrk, or Randolph Cty 309-In Jail. The DOC locator is the correct tool after that shift.

The public jail profile does not list court dates in the inspected sample. For charges after filing, use Arkansas court records. For booking photos, current public images are handled on the roster and are discussed further on the Randolph County jail mugshots page.
